THE DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS IS JULY 31, 2009

Abstracts should contain original material relevant to the field of ECT. The abstracts will be rated on scientific merit, quality of presentation, and compliance with these instructions.

The abstracts must be submitted electronically. If submitting more than one abstract, please e-mail them separately.

Abstracts must be submitted in English and should be prepared strictly according to the following instructions.

The abstract should include:

• statement on the purpose of the paper/study

• methods used

• summary of results and statistical assessments

• conclusion

Please arrange the text as follows:

• Use Font Times New Roman, 12.

• Note that the paper should be limited to 500 words

• The title should be brief, and should use significant words that best express the nature of the study.

• No more than three references to previous publications may be included: these should be listed at the end.
